Re: Back to the music!
Lately I've been jamming Max Webster / Kim Mitchell, and some obscure stuff by Nash the Slash / FM. Not Christian choices, but some impressive musical quality.
I've found myself returning to the Daniel Band in the past few days. Some simple but powerful lyrics.

Re: Back to the music!
About music, I'm still rocking Wytch Hazel.
I bought the downloads and haven't even listened to them. I forgot about having them!
Lately, I've been playing:
The entire ROSE catalog
Big Fat Jam
Bone Prophet
Big Chris & D'Bare Bones Band
The first album by The Brave
The last couple of Saint albums

If you want to go REALLY old school there are these guys:
Now off to investigate this Big Fat Jim that Chris is talking about.

Lookin' forward to the new album.metaldude wrote:New Creation wrote:I never once listened to the Galactic Cowboys! I always saw their stuff on the shelf and never tried them out. I think my teenage mind thought they were some kind of weird country act.
I ignored them back in the day. I picked up on them a few years ago, now they're one of my favorite bands. Definitely worth checking into.

Same here. Similitude quickly became one of my all-time favorite albums, and I've been buying up Neal Morse and Neal Morse-involved band stuff ever since. The majority of my listening for the last few months has been that.
