New Night Ranger
So far 3 singles have been put up on YouTube. This is by far the best of the 3.

I really want to like this, but said the same thing about their last two comeback albums as well....and they just didn't quite "stick" with me after listening to them a few times.

I still listen to "Somewhere In California" regularly, even this week, but I don't know about this one.

I also still listen to Somwhere in California. Biggest issue I have is that Frontiers sound which makes them kind of generic.

I'm glad Frontiers is out there but like you said there is something about their releases. Some of them are good, but as you stated, some of it sounds generic and some of the bands are almost interchangeable.
I like the title track best from "Somewhere In California" and I like the above song but not enough to buy either albums.

That's exactly where I am as well. Which I think is a shame because I really loved their first 3 records and can still remember nearly every song on each of those albums

Re: New Night Ranger
I think with this one I will download the above single just as I did with the last album.
Also curious about the new Quiet Riot but the released song isn't very good. Strange thing is, the "new" singer was booted after 4 or 5 shows and they now have ANOTHER new singer and are going back and re-recording this album -- weeks before it was supposed to be released. It's a Frontiers release as well. I am curious to hear more from it but it will prob be a while since they are redoing all the songs.
Strange, I was gonna post the audio for it but Frontier has pulled it.

QR is now a soap opera, along with Blotzer's version of Ratt.

Re: New Night Ranger
It's my belief that Frankie and Bobby just can't get along with anyone and should form their own band called Quiet Ratt. Would be easiest right? Saw an recent interview with Carlos Cavazo and he was asked about QR and simply stated he was ready to move on and do something else and he was happy in Ratt... I am happy for Carlos.
Personally I thought this vocalist was pretty good before he got booted after 2 weeks or whatever

"On September 2, 2012 it was announced Bobby would be joining Geoff Tate's lineup formed after his dismissal from Queensrÿche,[8] but he left on January 25, 2013 to return playing with Ratt.[9] On April 24, 2014, Stephen Pearcy announced he had left the band again.[10][11] After this, Ratt went on hiatus."Black Rider wrote:Frankie and Bobby should join Tate.

I listened to that single and couldn't even make it all the way through a single listen...horrid.
