More info on what our friend Karam has left.

Thinking about Karam and how he's doing in Mexico. Worried that we haven't heard from him since the day he left if he made it OK. Trusting that he's just still busy getting settled in.

Many of us know somethings about Venezuela despite the sorry lack of coverage in the US media. I want to share a few videos about Venezuela that may give some here more information and really highlight the dire situation that Karam has escaped that we would be more mindful of him and the Venezuelan people in our thoughts and prayers.

This video weaves together many video clips of news and personal videos to tell a story of international corruption with a final plea to help those who are resisting it in Venezuela. I don't know if I agree with it all but it does present a plausible narrative. Whether you believe it or not, it does do a good job of highlighting the hardships of the people.



This video shows what a couple of independent reporters find on their trip there. What I find scary and ironic are the public signs prohibiting, underage drinking, smoking, racism, and guns. Reminds me too much my home in California. ;(



This one is a very interesting listen talking about the effects of socialism on the country and what it's leaders have done.


I'm curious on anyone's thoughts are on the videos.
