Forgot to post this yesterday. Can't believe it has been 25 years. Say what you will, but I dug me some grunge and thought it was a refreshing change.

I really dig several of the bands that came out of the Seattle grunge scene.  Having said that I must confess that Nirvana was one of the ones that I could only take in small doses.  Still there is no denying their influence on a generation of 90's teens.  No matter what your take on the grunge scene, it was very organic and honest (well until the big labels got hold of it).

I remember seeing this (my first Nirvana video). It came on just after Skidrow's Slave to the Grind video on MTV. In retrospect, like grunge was replacing glam right before my very eyes. While grunge was never my favorite sub-genre, I still like several of the bands that came out of it.
