Krokus fans?
What are the best/worst albums by this band? I remember having a few of their mid-80's albums and would like to check them out again. What do you recommend?
Re: Krokus fans?
Headhunter is essential. I quite liked The Blitz and Change of Address as well, but it should be noted that those two are VERY different from the rest of their material and very commercial.

I've only owned "The Blitz" "Headhunter" and "One Vice at a Time". Great stuff on all three albums but "Headhunter" was easily the best.

Headhunter and The Blitz are great. One Vice at a Time is good as well. Been into Krokus for many years.

I really like two of their most recent releases:
Dirty Dynamite and Hoodoo, on these two they go for a little more bluesy sound.

That's my favorite style of rock, right there. That bluesy hard rock sound has always been my favorite.
Re: Krokus fans?
To me, Krokus always reminded me of a more " metal " version of ac/dc.
LOVED this band back in the day. Metal Rendezvous, One Vice, Head Hunter, and The Blitz are hard rock masterpieces but the lyrics have a TON of sexual innuendo and explicit content.
.....not getting too much play these days.

I am listening to them again and their early stuff did sound similar to some AC/DC. In the mid 80s, they got their own sound that sounds like a mix of Rough Cutt, Journey, and Bloodgood. There are a lot of similarities to Bloodgood.

I really liked Headhunter and One Vice At A Time (except for some of the lyrics of course).
Watched some live shows of theirs on cable T.V. (1982 or 83) and You Tube and they've always been very good live, and still are.
I lost track of them temporarily after they got a new singer. Now that Marc Storace is back, I've sampled their more recent material here and there and it's not bad, but it's hard to beat their best song-writing which was in the 80's.

I like their song “Screaming in the Night”. I have the Stayed Awake All Night compilation album.
