Later "Betrayal" material
In metal-archives it is stated that Betrayal returned in 2000 sounding like an Industrial - Goth Metal band . Has anyone here heard any of these 2 releases from this band on their "new style" ?

I think one of them is listed in Scott Waters' nolifetilmetal site. He was unimpressed.

I'm familiar with Leaving Nevermore. It sounds somewhat like NIN. Kind of like Kraftwerk meets Depeche Mode meets Betrayal.zemarissu wrote:In metal-archives it is stated that Betrayal returned in 2000 sounding like an Industrial - Goth Metal band . The production is a little thin. I don't enjoy it.

One song, Dark Laden, was legally available to download for free in 2002 or 2003 or so.
Here's the song:

It's from the second industrial album, In Remembrance of Me.
I like the song.
I recall linking this song here earlier in some other thread but here it is again if someone wants to take a listen. I couldn't find it on Youtube.

I enjoyed the album for what it is. It's more like a Marcus N. Colon solo album, but he was trying to reach the goth scene when there was such a thing. Wish it was more of a showcase of his guitar playing abilities though.

Man, I totally forgot that album existed. I was a big fan of the first two, but that one literally left 0 impression on me at the time.
