Jimmy Brown - Vlog w/George Ochoa
Jimmy Brown interviews George Ochoa for his Vlog. They talk a little about the future of Deliverance.
Re: Jimmy Brown - Vlog w/George Ochoa
Wow, what an entertaining watch. That was fantastic. Seeing and hearing these metal dudes from my teenage years still going strong and talking as friends and about new projects and more Deliverance and so much more. This was just great.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Is Larry Farkas in Bloodgood just a live thing or has he joined the band?

Did I hear it right that this time they are actually trying to do a follow-up to Weapons?
Man, Jimmy is great in these types of talking videos. He and George have a great chemistry together. Subscribed to him and waiting for more!
Here's an already classic video where they play 23 with George (and Les):

That's a shame. Larry's too good to not have something going.

That was so cool. I'm glad to hear they are thinking about new Deliverance music. Though I don't necessarily need a Weapons II. I'd just be happy with new D music with Jimmy and George.

This is very interesting.
I didn't have time to watch it so far. But I hope he can find time to make lots of videos. Jimmy Brown is the kind of guy who always has a story to tell.

That was a great video. Jimmy is nuts. If he didn't pursue music, he would definitely excel at being a comedian. I don't agree with the smoking part. I don't smoke but I have my bad habits that I'm working on.

I guess we all have bad habits to work on.Soldier777 wrote:I don't smoke but I have my bad habits that I'm working on.
Depite the fact that Jimmy is, how could I say, spontaneous, he could take it easier with the critics. I guess if he smokes, it doesn't concern me. I have my own bad habits and these ones concerns me. However, as a musician, he is an influent people. It is like some sort of pastor or anything. Even though we know they are sinners just as we are, it is kind of shocking to see a pastor smoking. It is an unexpected behavior.
I don't know if I made myself clear, but that is how people who mail Jimmy may feel about it. And I don't think he has a clue about it.

My opinion based on observations over the years: If people knew how many Christian musicians smoke, they'd go running for the hills.

The only smoking I disagree with is the Old Testament priests who were inhaling the incense meant for God.

Incidentally. Jimmy talks about people writing him about the smoking thing. I tried looking up him up on Facebook, but I couldn't find him (I found his studio, 3 frogz, but not him).
Anybody have the link to his Facebook? I'm not looking to berate him about smoking, but it would be fun to tune into the musings of one Jimmy P Brown. He was a blast to read when he told Deliverance stories on the old CMR.

I've seen him talk to George Ochoa, so look on his friends list.
Re: Jimmy Brown - Vlog w/George Ochoa
Really cool videos. I am just sad because it looks like both Jimmy and George are more focused on their own projects (Jupiter VI and Worldview, respectively). I don't really understand this resistance to a new Deliverance album. Both Worldview and jupiter VI have just released their albums. And we all know that Deliverance has more attention of people in general than both bands together. It should be their priority, I guess.
Despite that, I think Jimmy is a very funny guy and I enjoy the honest with he approachs any topic. I am not on social medias to support him, but I really hope him to do a lot of more videos. No matter whether he would be talking about future plans or old Deliverance histories, I am interesting in everything.

When a band says things like this, to me, it usually means trying to recapture a point in time for their music. Which is rarely done.

Exactly, Sentient! That's why if there's a new D record, I hope it's just the music they want to make - not trying to force a Weapons II when they don't really want to.

I see that Jimmy is taking his youtube channel seriously. He has already posted half a dozen videos.
There is one hat was particularly funny, that also includes George Uchoa and they talk about christians pirating music. I recommend it.

And CMR kind of gets a mention by George. (We're famous! hah)
On a serious note, I agree 100% with what Jimmy and George are saying. Goes back to the "The laborer is worthy of his hire." aspect of 1 Tim 5:18
