Maverick (new hair metal band)

So my son, who is more into metal than I am if that were possible, is digging around and comes across this band from Northern Ireland. They released their debut album - "Quid Pro Quo" - back in November 2014. Their sound is straight out of the 80s. Think Skid Row meets Firehouse. As a huge fan of that style of music, this is right up my alley. There are a couple of songs on this album that I discarded as I'm not into the self-indulgent sexuality of that style, but thankfully most of this album steers clear of that. Check this out.

I can't believe how much the opening line reminded me of this song. The rest doesn't but my mind just goes straight to Rebel Yell. Funny cause I just finished reading an interview with Billy Idol.

Sounds great, I will have to listen to more.

This sounds like some pretty good stuff! I'd buy it!!!

There was once a Christian metal band named Maverick around 1991. They had two hits.

Had this for over a month now and it is still a regular play. The more I listen the more I love it. Its fast becoming one of my favorites ever.

I just got it this weekend and have listened to it once, I really like it.
