Great band! I've been a Saxon fan for many years! Saw them recently with Armored Saint and they put on a phenomenal show!

8 years ago, when I first moved to nights, I couldn't STAND Saxon. Probably because the boss insisted on playing "Motorcycle Man" all the time. Things didn't really "click" for me until I heard Call to Arms.
Now, I LOVE Saxon. Battering Ram is another in a long line of successes. I am AMAZED at the band's consistency over the last decade and a half or so. Arguably more consistently great material than either Maiden or Priest have managed over the same timeframe......

I think this is one of their best out of the last few releases, which have all been good. This one may be my favorite release out of anything thats come out this year.

I was at the Cleveland show, you Dayton?
Great show, but HUGELY disappointed that they played nothing from "Lionheart", my favorite lp by them...

Yes! I was at the Dayton show! And yes, there were a handful of songs that I wish they had played, but didn't. But...... They did play 3 songs off Power and the Glory which is MY favorite album by them!
I assume you live near the Cleveland area. We are working on booking some shows up that way. Hopefully you can catch one!
