Movies That NEED A Sequel [or reboot]
So in tradition of sequel themed threads
what are some movies that you would love to see a sequel, or trilogy or saga built off of?
I movie that was recently made but put off a studios hit list or a movie thats old and needs a sequel!
Or a movie that has terrible sequels in its catalog and need better ones!

Re: Movies That NEED A Sequel [or reboot]
My first 2 are:
Pacific Rim
and
Tron
Pacific Rim
First off if you keep up with movies, you may have heard in the last week that Pacific Rim 2 has been cancelled. It was originally planned for a 2017 release but was just cancelled!!!
There are rumors of course of the director/creator saying that it will go through.
Well it better be !!!!!!
Tron
Secondly Tron needs a third movie!!!!
The first one was a master piece of science fiction and Legacy was the perfect reboot!!
But nothing ever fruited from it. Only a 12 episode cartoon which was also awesome. [That deserved a second season]
But in 2013 Disney wrote it off of their to do list with upcoming movies.
I'll probably be another couple decades before we get another.

Don't laugh but I wish they would make the sequel(s) to Eragon. I thought it was a cute little fantasy movie with some beautiful visuals.

I'm unhappy that they're going to do remakes of these movies, but I am very curious how they'll turn out.
Videodrome
They Live
Suspiria
These could be great but will probably suck... I think putting a modern twist on Videodrome will be especially interesting though I hope they do it right because it'd be really easy to get lazy with using the internet instead of tv/video.

I want sequels, prequels and everything for Independence Day (Will Smith included of course)

I heard James Cameron is turning Avatar into a trilogy. Maybe that is old news but I just found out the other day.
