Who knew???

I was unaware until yesterday that if you have an opinion about not allowing dogs (not counting service dogs) into retail stores with a deli, fast food restaurant, bakery, and groceries made you a judgmental, hate-filled person who needed to question their Christianity.  Who knew?

These days if you are (A). A Christian and (B). Have an opinion on anything, then you are intolerant. You have to meet both of those conditions though to achieve the title of intolerant.

I will not share my views on people and their pets because I want to live in denial of how many nutters are still here.  I will say I was in Kroger a few years ago and some woman had her weenie dog in one hand and was filling up at the salad bar with the other.  The following is the conversation with the person at the Customer Service desk:

"Hi, I know this is strange, but there's a woman holding a dachshund at the salad bar."
"There's someone holding a dog at the salad bar?"
"Yes."
"But dogs aren't allowed in the store."
"Yes, I know this."
"And there's someone with a dog at the salad bar?"
"Right."
"There shouldn't be a dog at the salad bar."
"Yes, so you see the problem..."
"Someone needs to tell her she needs to take the dog out."
"Yeah, that's why I came here in the first place."

This reminds me of the time I went to a dentist that a coworker recommended. It was at a house that had been converted for business. When I walked in, the "living room" (waiting room) was packed full of people. It looked like he was just trying to make as much money as possible. Most of them looked poor and foreign. So I waited. When it came time for an x-ray, they walked me into the back rooms and I see an old bedroom with two chairs in it. Walking around the chairs freely was a German Shepard. My first thought was that it didn't look sanitary to have that in a dentist office. It didn't look like a service dog. It looked like it was his. The dentist looked like one of those absent minded professors. When he told me that I had to go to an oral surgeon, and that he couldn't help me, needless to say I was relieved.

I am pet intolerant.
For the sake of my very real psychological disorder, people please leave your pets at home.

One time I took my ailing dog to a veterinarian and there were dogs and cats and iguanas in the same waiting room as us

Ummmm.....totally different situation as the vet's office is for the animals--not retail stores that serve food.

Well the one nut job on Facebook shares his plate and his spoon with his dog. That is disgusting. 

God knows what else he shares with it.
