New Stryper Track: Fallen
Sounding pretty good. I'm thinking this is going to be an album I'll be picking up in October.
Re: New Stryper Track: Fallen
This just might be Stryper's best album yet.

I'll definitely be getting it in October. It sounds like it might be some of the best work they have done.

Michael, in his old age, is starting to fall a lot. The next song is titled 'And I can't get up!"
It's a bout satan. Here are the lyrics that he posted on Facebook (alldat will be happy that he shared them. )
You were filled with pride because you were so beautiful
Your wisdom was corrupted for the sake of your splendor
You were cast down to the ground, exposed before the kings
Deceiver of the world, you know you’ll always be the great pretender
(Chorus)
Now you’re Fallen, Fallen, Fallen
You used to be so blameless from the day you came to be
Unrighteousness, it reared it’s evil face inside of you
You were once anointed, when you walked the music played
Like lighting from the sky, you were forever thrown from heaven too
(Chorus)
Now you’re Fallen, Fallen, Fallen
The end is calling, calling, Fallen
(Chorus)
Now you’re Fallen, Fallen, Fallen
The end is calling, calling, Fallen

I just noticed that. Thanks for posting the lyrics.
My question and concern is...What's with the word "You" being used all over the song?
We all know who this "You" is...It's satan.
Call me crazy/kookoo/whatever, but why would anyone want to sing a song to satan?

Re: New Stryper Track: Fallen
What is this supposed to be a representation of?
Lemme guess...This picture represents satan falling into the lake of fire.
I really don't think satan is going to look like a pretty boy anymore after he is exposed.
His facial expression will not look as if he's posing singing a high note either.
I may be getting too "theological" for some folks here...if that's the case, so be it.
Or maybe I am expecting too much from Stryper because they are not a "Christian" band.
I'm not interested in this song/album at all.

I take that back. Obviously I am interested in the lyrics and imagery, but not in the way that you might think.
My perspective comes from a combined interest in truth and art.
And from that perspective, I just gotta say....this is some weird stuff.

Mortal,
You seriously need help.
You are a prime example of why I can't stand being around here....
so since I am sure I will be banned anyway for blasting ya, I am going to delete my account just to make it easy for them.
You sir, without a doubt, are the most illogical person I have ever seen in this forum.
Hopefully you read this before it gets taken down.

If you expect me to show more respect for Stryper than truth, then I'm afraid you are the one who needs serious help.
If you think that I should not be able to express that opinion, again...you would be the one who needs serious help.
One of the reasons we can't have a theology section here is because certain folks...and I won't mention any names, NoOneIsHere, love to fight over stupid stuff.
Is it really a problem for you, NoOneIsHere, that I am concerned about these things?
I am betting it's not. I'm betting your post is all for show.
Thank you, Please drive through.

How is this that much different from To Hell With The Devil? One is a song that spells out the nature of the demonic ("Just a liar and a thief. The word tells us so" etc.). The other is a song written to the devil stating that he is a defeated foe.
No big deal if you ask me.

No big deal?
There's no difference between talking about satan...and talking TO satan?
Really?
