Actually, Roy Z fromed Driver around 1989 with Rob Rock. When Rob left Joshua he formed Driver with former Joshua members Greg Shultz - keys, back-vocal and Emil Lech Brando - bass guitar.

Actually, I was there and played on both Driver Albums. I know where the songs originated and where they went.

The more I spin this the more I like it. I do think they have made some creative and excellent music here. Definitely not your cookie cutter metal. As someone else pointed out, there is a definite Queensryche vibe ... and not just because of the vocal similarities between Rey and Geoff Tate. The song Back in Time definitely sounds like Empire era Ryche ... at least to me. I hear it on other songs as well. This is definitely going to be in the running for top X albums of the year. I really hope these guys continue to collaborate and make more music.

i see from this website that there were demos made for Seventh Thunder
but the more important question is, "who has it?!"

Multiple demo's were made. 20-25 songs that I can remember. I had two tapes full of songs. One was stolen and Roy has my other tape. Vett was in Shades for about a month. We only had a couple of practices together. Johnny still sees him from time to time. Keep him in your prayers.
