Songs you like, by artists you dont like

What are some songs by bands you dislike for the most part? For example, i dont care much for Rage Against the Machine, but i do have to admit that Bulls on Parade and Guerrilla Radio are good, catchy, heavy songs. On a lighter note, i dont like most of what i've heard from Mr Big, but i LOVE "Green Tinted Sixties Mind" and "Just Take My Heart" is pretty good too. Moving away from metal, No Doubt's "Spiderwebs" would qualify as well.

Kiss: "Detroit Rock City" and "Then She Kissed Me."

This is a good topic, shame it got overlooked.  I've decided to resurrect it.

I would say No Doubt's "Spiderwebs" is a perfect example of a band I dislike but like the song.

These aren't bad musicians/songwriters.  CCM just isn't my thing.

And then you have cases of liking only one album, for me those would be REM's Monster (dont like any of their other stuff, but this is different and more upbeat) and Holy Soldier's Last Train (the first album did nothing for me after the first two songs, and Promise Man is best forgotten, but this album was great, kind of had a Cinderella/Great White vibe to it).

For the same reason that my user name describes my introduction to various musical acts and genres, I was never a fan of this band until I heard this song on satellite radio.....Now, I see why people are into their music.

I know alot of songs by one band i claim to not like. I guess i wouldnt say I dont like him or dislike them i just dont get the hype that is attached to them (not saying its not earned or anything) theyre just Meh for me
