My new guitar!!!!

Here's my latest guitar creation from a wine box.  It is simply awaiting strings.  You won't see the bridge in these shots as it is a floating model that the strings will hold in place.






The tail piece is actually a handheld cheese grater that I bought for $1 at the local Dollar Tree.  The strap buttons are actually picture frame holders that you can get in a pack at Walmart.

Cool! Just don't cut your hand on that cheese grater. That would hurt.

You won't.  When I hammered it into the shape you see now, I also hammered all of the little grating holes so that they are no longer sharp.  I also filed any edge that was sharp on it as well so that no one could get hurt on it short of getting clobbered over the head with the entire guitar.

Kinda neat. Show another pic when it's strung.

Actually, I heard it was going to be a spoon!  We all know what those are use for!


I am actually thinking of making a tailpiece out of a fork.  I want to make a metal horns symbol with the fork and install that on a box.

I now have the strings and my bridge for the wine box.  So, completion is nearing and the forthcoming video to show how she sounds is too.

Maybe you could do some videos where you play classic Christian metal tunes on wine/cigar boxes.

Maybe some Bloodgood?

Maybe some Stryper?

Maybe some Saint?

Just an idea.
