Step Cousin

I was looking for Step Cousin videos yesterday and found this 2013 video from the studio. Does anyone know what happened to this project?  As far as I know, it never released.

I think they're still working on stuff but that pesky thing called "life" keeps getting in the way.

I haven't heard of them until now. Thanks for giving me something else to look into. You might try asking the drummer directly. That video is from his yt page.

D@v!d, try The Evolution Religion. It's a good album and easier to find than their first two.

UNDERRATED. Good band.

Excellent band. Have their 3 albums.

Got their CD called Innocence before Oblivion in the mail the other day and im really enjoying.

It reminds me a lot of mid period Annihilator or Megadeth.

Gonna check out their other albums now.

I’ve only got Experiments in Sound, but it’s good. I also like Lorchain.

Some are critical of Brotality as a band name. These guys have arguably the worst band name ever.

Its less generic than Flood, and less cringy than Brotality imho.

But yeah, it doesnt describe their music very well.

But not as bad as Dew Scented, Pretty Maids, or Pink Cream 69.

You got me. Those are all awful! Lol I don’t have that big of a problem with Flood due to its many perceived meanings (e.g., spiritual cleansing, surge of energy/aggression, etc.). The others though, just awful!

I think Roxx Records has “The Evolution Religion”  and “Innocence before Oblivion.” Check out Roxxrecords.com …. Also, Kelly(the drummer) is a great guy and very approachable….contact him through Facebook…maybe he has extra copies of “Experiments in Sound.” He’s also the drummer/singer for Lordchain…another excellent band.

I probably skipped this thread earlier this year because of the name. However, a track from Innocence Before Oblivion came up as a suggested video on Youtube. I clicked, I bought, and am now really enjoying this! Surprised this band isn't mentioned more often. I own no Lordchain albums but I guess I'll have some more albums to look into after this. Really talented guys for sure.

I am not a fan of the Stepcousin material, but I have everything Lordchain has done!  I am even on two of their rock worship projects.

I don't have any Lordchain, I'll have to check them out.  I also have Experiments in Sound and like it.  Need to check out their others.

I don't mind Flood and I think Brotality is awesome!!  I have no idea what Step Cousin was thinking...
