The Hardest albums to like (find em ever)

What albums did you buy that took forever to get into, but turned out to be good albums or even some of your favorites?

And then there's the bands that I knew about for a long time but took forever to "click" with me (but once they did, they've become some of my absolute favorites).

Antestor - Omen

For some reason, this album didn't click with me at all for several months. Then, almost overnight, it became one of my favorite albums. I've bought a few other albums that were like that; that had to sink into my subconscious for a while before I could really appreciate them.

I have to agree with this, I at first was skeptical about buying it but it grew on me

Most of the Tourniquet albums that I like.

Randy Rose's "Sacrificium".  It was just so much darker than the rock stuff that MATW was doing that I didn't care for it.  I didn't listen to it much until after I started listening to Sometime Sunday, Wish For Eden, etc.  That Rose album is very similar to those but has better guitar solos!
