Metal Christmas

Cranked some TSO and ABR while putting up the tree today

I just don't get the hype with TSO.  I do love the Monster Ballads Christmas and We Wish You a Metal Christmas albums as well as Jeff Sheetz Christmas and Rock Power Praise.  I have the "Handheld Messiah" album by Apologetix as well.

For what its worth in this thread, I got a reply to my PM from Theocracy. They will not be doing a Christmas song this year. Sadness.

If anyone is interested, I did a remix of "We Three Kings" that I released a couple of years back.

I get out Christmas music earlier and earlier every year, I think because I like getting 2 and a half months a year to listen to Brutal Frost covered metal anthems

And I surely will!  As we push the Christmas season out earlier and earlier each year, it won't be long until we'll be hearing Christmas songs year round.  Hallmark shows Christmas movies on and off from July onward.  Why not just make Christmas the last 6 months of the year?  Oh, yeah!  The stores already do.

While I will still partake some, Christmas just isn't much for me anymore.  It has become more about the secular celebration of greed, and I just don't enjoy it like I once did.

I just like the music actually

My mom put out her Christmas lights this past Saturday. She's already asked me and my wife to complete our Amazon wishlist. This was before Halloween even!

It used to be the day after Thanksgiving, which makes a lot more sense than BEFORE Halloween.

Well we have begun rotating Christmas metal into Reanimated Radio already. The way I see it we only get to listen to Christmas metal for a short time, so better make the best of it.
