Prayer please
I'm sure very few of you knew this but its official. My marriage is over. I will be getting a divorce.
My wife moved out the end of last year for multiple reasons. For the longest time, we thought it was a good boundary for us as we planned to live together again in January and start a family. She only lived 15 minutes away afterall...
The past 6 months, I was lucky to see her once a week. I tried and tried and I tried to accept it, but the last two months, I'd had enough. I told my wife, though I want to see her every day, I would compromise to seeing her twice a week.
She agreed, but every time she would eventually go back to seeing me only once a week. Yesterday, she refused to compromise. Twice a week to spend together is too much for me to expect and said she was throwing in the towel.
I have peace now that this is ending and no longer on the fence, but I do have thoughts of revenge and resentment creeping up on me. Please also pray for my wife. Her obsession for work (a true workaholic) has gotten out of hand. Even though she hates her job, she doesn't take any days off out of fear of being laid off and losing her benefits.

Ah crap dude. I was really hopeful things were going to work out for you two. You're both in my prayers.

Re: Prayer please
Thanks guys. I appreciate it.
Love was never a problem. The kick in the pants is that neither one of us wanted this divorce. She would much rather me accept not seeing her and just deal with it and stay married. I... can't do that. I tried for so long - I just can't anymore.
Actually, all of this fits into the serenity prayer.
1) God Grant me the serenity, to accept the things I cannot change
2) the courage to change the things I can
3) and the wisdom to know the difference.
(1) happened for the better part of a year, and when (3) finally dawned on me, it was time to (2).
