My house mate

Can you please keep my house mate, Cara, in your prayers? She had a CT scan this morning and may have a tumour. She has gone in to emergency to talk to a doctor about it and might have to undergo surgery. Can you please just pray that she will be ok? Thanks.

Yes. I pray that God will bring a good report and that God will give her the courage to face what ever comes.

Thank you for your prayers. I saw her earlier today and she is probably going to be operated on either on wednesday or friday obviously Sydney, Australia time. She is really nervous about the procedure, being a nurse she knows about the things that can go wrong during surgery, but I think the prognosis is pretty positive given that the tumor has been there for some time.
It is located near the brain stem, which to my limited knowledge is usually a very severe and often fatal type of tumor, but she has been affected by it for a few years so the doctors believe it is a very low grade type tumor which has a very good prognosis, thank goodness, it's only come to light in the last few days because she has been having severe headaches over the last week.

I just heard from Cara's boyfriend that the whole tumor was removed during her operation, meaning she wont have to undergo chemotherapy. She is currently resting in ICU an is breathing without any apparatus, and will possibly be moved to a normal ward in the next few days. Still a long way to recovery, but such a relief to hear that the operation was a success.

Praise be to God for getting her through this first and most risky part of her recovery. Thank you so much for your prayers, please keep praying for her recovery.
