Sounds like an interesting project. I had just started getting into Christian metal in 1993, this would be an interesting look back in time.

It was somewhat hit-and-miss at the turn of the 1990s, but I think Dale was right on the pulse as exciting things in faith-based heavy music really started to gain some momentum. And he was a really likeable host with a true heart of gold, IMHO. I hope you find a few "new" things you enjoy.

Thanks for checking out the blog.  As of today, uploads are planned for additional programs from 1990-end of 1991.  The blog is submission-driven, since there exists no known central/complete collection of the broadcast cassettes.  I put out a public call for submissions quite a while back and thus far nobody has submitted anything beyond 1991.  Below is a list of what's posted and what's in the works.  I'm not planning on uploading the pending submissions in chronological order, as the playlists often don't vary a lot if it were to go that way, but for ease of reference the most recent uploads will continue to be noted at the top of the updates section, with download links posted chronologically in the "Classic broadcasts" section.  This is an ongoing project, so if you have some shows to fill in the gaps or know someone hoarding, please consider submitting!  The show was on air for 10 years, so I'm not sure how many broadcasts are currently surviving out in the wild.  All the programs posted at the blog have been pitch-corrected, balanced, normalized, and (wherever possible) spliced to remove tape flips.  The first few broadcasts were uploaded in 128kbps; more recently and going forward, everything will be in 192kbps.

Yes, the goal is to make the blog home to as many TS broadcast downloads as possible from all years. All broadcast submissions will be uploaded; what I have listed as "in the works" is the complete listing of confirmed contributors' cassettes--it just happens that nobody has yet submitted any broadcasts earlier than 7/90 or later than 12/91.

The next four shows I'm working on are from early 1993, and so those will showcase some great material (including cool demo stuff!) that got released after November 1991.  A guy named Jason Sullivan contributed 4 partial shows without playlists, and I asked a couple of the LS guys for help pinning down info on the broadcasts.  It turns out that DJ is a super archivist, and will soon be sending over the balance of the music and corresponding playlists for these 4 shows, in addition to other broadcasts!

Thanks for saying so.  I'm happy to announce that uploads ought to be happening a bit more frequently for the next several months:  D.J. from Living Sacrifice has loaned me 30 hours of broadcast cassettes and I plan on uploading one per week until I've done them all.  To mix up the bands presented I'll skip around a little on dates instead of going strictly chronologically.

Johnson for generous loan of the broadcast materials.  This installment includes a Living Sacrifice interview w/DJ, discussing the then-new debut album.  On this transfer, I split the 2-hour broadcast between "New Awakening" and "Choose Today a Kingdom" on the playlist.  This broadcast includes an Empty Tomb request made by a Mark Fields in Naples, which was kind of weird to hear since that's also my name and I never made any contact w/T.S. until I started this blog 20 years later, many states away.

Today I added February 20, 1993 links to the "Classic broadcasts" post.  Thanks to Darren "D.J." Johnson for generous loan of the broadcast materials.  The program is split between "Hope You Stay Alive" and "Pathogenic Ocular Dissonance" on the playlist.  The broadcast was 2 hours but, as noted by Dale, several songs did not get taped.  Living Sacrifice is the featured band, and Dale talks with D.J. about the Nonexistent album.  The second "hour" is closer to 45 minutes.  224kbps.
