DBF is looking for songs for a sampler...

Hey folks. I've been thinking about putting out a free sampler with indie bands on it, to let people know what bands they're missing. I accept all styles, so long as the music is listenable. PM me or post here if you want to put a song on the sampler.

Have you had any takers on your offer yet, DBF? I would be rather leery of a teenager with no record company behind them wanting free music to "promote". While I am sure your motives are pure, to the outside world, this is just too big of a risk.

I've had one definite yes, and a few maybes that I'm trying to follow up. If you want to contribute a song, I'd be glad to add it.

I'd get in touch with Dale Huffman (fishingd) he knows more indie bands than I can count.

Put me in the "leery" category. With you being a teenager with no record company experience or backing, this is just not a good risk.
