New song by The Brave

Wow!!!! That is awesome!!! Loved it!!!

Overall I like it after 2 listens through, but first impression was iffy.  Has some great riffing.  But also some odd proggy transitions, and the vocal harmonies go to unexpected places on one occasion.  At least they're not repeating themselves, or anyone else, lol.

I downloaded it the other night, but have yet to listen.  I pre-ordered the album on their website, and the 24th will be here shortly.

Finally giving Knock Knock a spin.  The intro is extremely reminiscent of Styx's "Renegade."  

Oh yeah, I thought it sounded familiar.

Is that the release date?  July 24?  I haven't seen anything with a release date.

Something on the website stated either the 24th or the 31st. Could be the latter.

Regardless, it'll be here before we know it!

Not that I know of….I thought we would’ve heard something by now. An update would be nice for everyone who pre ordered the cd.

^Not thrash lol. Rock/Hard Rock. Very good though. Check out Evie’s Little Garden first and then Battle Cries(their first album). Grave digger was their last album and is pretty good.

I love rock/hard rock. Petra, Guardian etc. I'll check 'em out.

I forgot to mention their second album titled "Trust” which I also like a lot.

The new one is great! I don’t know that it’ll top ELG—a very high standard—but it’s miles ahead of Gravedigger.

Very raw, Trust-like vibe this time around. I like it.

Interesting to pick this up. I hadn't purchased any of the new material. I only have Trust and honestly never listened too much to that album. The vocals are excellent and have a cool Kip Winger vibe. Songwriting is solid front to back. The guitar solos are outstanding. The drumming on the more upbeat tracks actually adds some cool elements and punch. The production and art are amazing as well. My only struggle is that it is way more AOR than what I was expecting. I'd say half the tracks are soft here. They're all well done but I was hoping this rocked harder. 

Am I expecting the wrong thing? I feel like I'm listening to the first Danger Danger where its got cool elements everywhere but it never quite gets there. I want to like it more than I do. This has to be big time up someone's alley. It's just not really my alley. I'll definitely keep listening because it is very well done. I guess I expected something a little different.

If you’ve never heard Evie’s Little Garden you should definitely check that one out. It’s got a bit more oomph overall, but still has the things you like about this one.

I don't disagree about it being kind of AOR but it's quality. Evie's is a better album though.

Tbf, Evie’s is a high standard for just about any band.

Well this is slowly, slowly becoming an ear-worm album for me. I keep trying to come back to it and now I'm coming around. I think the recording softens it. There's nothing to help there but the melodies and choruses are starting to stick. I hope this continues. It may be a slow burner after all.
