Megadeth has some top-tier choruses. Some of my favorites
Tornado of Souls
Black Swan
Blood of Heroes
Dogs of Chernobyl
Never Walk Alone... A Call to Arms
Rust in Peace... Polaris
And I'm sure I'm missing some. What are some more of their best choruses in your opinions?

When Dave’s making a Megadeth cake, the riffs are the most important ingredient/foundation. The main lyrics are a full measure, and the chorus is typically half a teaspoon.
The solos are the icing!

I kind of have to disagree. For me, vocals and vocal melodies are what make or break a song. Good riffs are more the icing on the cake, but they can’t save a song with bad or uninteresting vocals for meTemple of Blood wrote:riffs > choruses

The Scorpion not only has a great chorus, but the verses are even better and I had to mention it bc verses are still vocal moments and good in similar ways to choruses

You have a point. Bad vocals can ruin a song.
The funny thing is that Dave Mustaine has been criticized for his singing since the beginning. But somehow his voice fits Megadeth perfectly.
