Soundgarden - Down On The Upside (1996)

On May 21 it will be 28 years since this album (their 5th) was released.   

Anyone have thoughts or opinions on this one?   I've never listened to it before, but am listening to it now and it is better than I thought it would be.

This one may lack some of the highlights of a Badmotorfinger or a Superunknown, but it is fairly consistent all the way through.

(Warning:  There is some profanity on it, just noticed - Spotify did not notify us of that!)

I think CTR is a Soundgarden fan

I remember liking it fairly well when it came out. 

Haven't listened to it in years, though.

Need to give it a fresh spin soon.

Kinda. I enjoy their sound (especially compared to most other grunge). I really like Superunknown. My friend loves Soundgarden and grunge as a whole. Haven't listened to this album, I'll have to give it a try! My friend told me that Chris got saved before he died.

Which songs?

I listened. I like the sound. I would still probably put Superunknown above it though.

Ty Cobb was a ton of F this, F that.... Other than that I didn't notice if there were others.
