I saw them live at Cornerstone once and it was a pretty good show.  I was impressed with Kandy Kane's guitar tone - really solid piece rock, better than most other bands I saw that week.  Anyway, at one point in the concert Kandy Kane looks like he's getting a drink then pulls closer to the crowd, tips his head back and spits purple kool-aid in the air all into the crowd.  It looked like he practiced it quite a bit as it was an impressive feat, getting a nice violet mist to shoot out high into the air.  I got out the way as quick as possible.  I was in around the fifth row, but I was able to escape, but my friend was no so lucky and he got caught up in the spray. Thus he obtained a nice purple stain on his brand new Disciple T-shirt.

He wasn't too mad about it and, later on that week, I met him at church and he told me the stain came out in the wash, so he was really relieved cuz Disciple was his favorite band (back when they were still underground and cool pre-2000's).

Yeah, he may have been joking… 

But I wanted to set the record straight (of in this case, un-straight).

Yes, I was joking. But, as CTR pointed out, it's not a laughing matter.

It’s a coping mechanism for some of us.

I know. 

But I just focused on Rackets and Drapes. I should have known it was a joke because of your mention of HS.

When it comes to Christian metal, nothing really comes to mind as someone that is my favorite. Maybe Lacey from Flyleaf. I used to dig Adrienne of Benjamin Gate back in the day. It always seems that they either fall on the operatic side or female cookie monster. 

Now I will say that one of my big favorites lately that I am particulary biased and partial to is my wife.

the third album with be out late summer. It will have three songs with my wife sharing vocal duties, aaaand, there will be a way to get a sneak peek (sneak listen? Sneak leak?) of the songs next month.

Ha!  I was actually gonna mention Warpriest but I thought the thread was just for bands with solely/primarily female singers.  

I will definitely recommend Warpriest nonetheless!  I appreciate that Elis' vocals are not operatic in style like most lady-singers in metal.  Hers fit perfectly with the music and add a lot of depth and diversity to Warpriest's tunes.
