I'm really confused.

I hear the tracks on Facebook, which sound like a pretty decent death metal...
...and then you doing clean vocals on the video, which aren't on those Facebook songs.

Did Exalt the Throne change genres of metal?

I think they just added her into the band so, those are previous releases.

So the real question is are you guys doing a combination of vocals? Or just the clean style now?

Either way I will be down to buy a copy

Haha, it is confusing! Exalt parted ways with its former vocalist a few months ago, and I joined in December. The album will have a combination of cleans and growls, the latter done by the bassist. No growls have been recorded just yet, but hopefully they'll be featured in a video soon! \m/

This sounds very promising! NordicMoon, you have a lovely voice. It sounds like you have some formal training the way you maintain a full tone going from the low to high register. Can't wait to hear more.

I want to hear more.  To be honest, though, if the growling vocals are overdone, I will just skip it.  I am sick to death of that kind of vocals.  I refuse to call it singing.

If it is just done for emphasis occasionally, I'd definitely pick up a copy.

Our next show is on April 9th at Reno's in Dallas, which will hopefully be our CD release show.
