These kinds of lists from music sites are always idiotic.

They're like those themed metal compilation albums from the 80s and 90s that always had one or two tracks that didn't fit at all. 

Fan: "What the..?" "What's KISS doing on a thrash metal disc?"

Clueless journo: "They have an album called Smashes, THRASHES & Hits, don't they??"

Stuff like that used to drive me insane. 

Now you know. It's all their fault. I could've been a contender...

We're exaggerating a bit, but I remember those days.

Anything with distorted guitar and power chords sounded the same to a lot of those Christian book store workers.

I miss Christian book stores, though. Found some cool stuff in those, both book-wise and music-wise. Plus it’s just not the same shopping for Bibles without being able to hold them first.

Eh, other than the Lulu placement (that one doesn’t even deserve to be on the list tbh, it deserves for everyone to pretend it doesn’t exist), the list is fairly reasonable

Aside from that, I took more offense at the comments under the placements than the placements themselves, such as the disrespect towards the Unforgiven sequels.

It was fun to go to my local Berean Christian book store and randomly stumble on a thrash or metal band while browsing the shelves. 

Just like I did at Tower records for the secular stuff.

One time I went into a Christian bookstore as a new believer and was browsing the CDs. I found Whitecross’ Triumphant Return. I had never heard of them, but I was a huge Whitesnake fan and the cover made me think of their 1987 album. So I took a chance and snagged it. Been a fan ever since.
