As much as I love Tourniquet (the best band ever) and as much as I love both of those songs, I'm going with Stryper's Lonely. One of my favorite ballads ever. An excellent sad melancholic song goes over an excellent mid-paced groovy metal/rock anytime.

Yeah, it's a great ballad. I still prefer metal over most ballads, but Lonely i great.

Nothin' touches Weapons.  Then White Knucklin', Time, and Fear No Evil.
