My Fantasy Live Setlist For Styx
Styx, like many veteran bands have a fairly standard live setlist over the years. They do alter the set from tour to tour, however long time fans can accurately guess which songs will be played each tour. The band mix in hit songs with well worn concert favorites. Styx puts on a fantastic live show and they have recorded two great albums recently. With all of these factors in mind I imagined a setlist that I would love to hear from the band. Most of these songs will never be played by the band, thus this is my fantasy setlist.

Re: My Fantasy Live Setlist For Styx
I'm not familiar with many of the songs you listed as your fantasy set list, but can relate to hoping a band would play songs I actually want to hear, and being disappointed when they play the same songs over and over, or just not the ones you wish they would.
I've had opportunities to go to concerts by bands like Yes or Dream Theater, only to check out their set list and/or You Tube clips first, and thinking "I'm not going to waste money and hours of my life on stuff I have little interest in hearing." That's why I like You Tube because I can search for songs I want to hear live, and just listen to the few I want to hear. IF they do them live at all, some times they do not.
Like, Ace Frehley doesn't seem to play any songs from the 1st Frehley's Comet album except MAYBE he'll play "Rock Soldiers." Well those are the songs I would like to hear, but if he doesn't want to, then that's his choice. And it's my choice to skip it. It's like inviting me to a party and making me pay for it but not serving any food that I want to eat.
