My list would be something like this:

Theocracy
Rob Rock
Divinefire
Impellitteri
Narnia
VIP (if these guys would have sang in english, half of you would have them in your list)
Preterist
Golden Resurrection
ReinXeed (kind of christian right?)
Gloriam Dei

As I see it, there is European melodic power metal (which is more of my thing) and then there is American power metal, which is a bit different style. That´s why I don't list bands like Bloodgood, Stryper, Barren Cross, Sardonyx, Eternal Ryte etc on this list. To me Impellitteri is more like melodic stuff. Older Sacred Warrior and maybe Recon are on the edge..

I notice no one has mentioned Inner Siege. Solid American power metal. I saw them live with Theocracy and they sound just like the record live.

Would Bloodgood be considered Power Metal for the non commercial songs which is most of them except for mostly Rock In a Hard Place and the occasional song of their other albums and the Les Carlson He's Coming album? I'd consider them to be a mostly Classic Metal oriented band.

I’m pretty sure I discovered Theocracy back around winter 2009 on a thread like this. I was wondering what metal there was more like Metallica, Dream Theater, or Blind Guardian, back when the only Christian metal band I knew was Stryper and some metalcore stuff I didn’t like.

Same, I discovered it shortly after the beginning of my first foray into “real” Christian metal. Absolutely blown away when I first heard it, and to this day the most incredible song I’ve ever heard

We used to have old threads in the Catacombs section that listed power metal, (and other lists of metal bands) and I spent Hours in there learning about bands.

I will treat this thread as resource, so, I will try to keep adding names.
