Which "First Love" is the best?

I'll go with Disciple. It's the heaviest one, and it's got great keyboards.

I'll go with Petra. John sounds amazing on that track, even though it's one of my least favorites from On Fire! 

Disciple's is good, but it kinda sounds like by-the-numbers modern Disciple to me. 

I have trouble with Stryper's ballads on their first 3. Better than Whitecross's, but they'd get much better starting on IGWT.

I am NOT a big Petra fan, but their "First Love" song is very memorable.
And it doesn't sound like anything else out there.  So that one gets my vote.

Yeah. I'm overall not into Stryper's ballads on any album, but Lonely is my #2 Stryper song overall, so there are some I like.

Funny story...before I was saved, the first Christian music anyone bought me as a ministry tool, was Petra's "Beat The System."

Not really my thing, and not a great choice given my listening preferences.  But my brother didn't know what else was out there in Christian rock / hard rock at the time.

I'd say I find at least 6 (maybe 7) Petra songs to be great, but after that they're just not my jam.  I appreciate them though.
