Hafgúa (doom/death metal from The Netherlands)

Haunting, eerie and dark, like northern lights over the Iceland sea where the Hafgúa [ɦɑf-ɡy-wä] dwells.
A sea monster known as the Leviathan from the accounts of Job and Jonah.
After which this 5 piece band is named heavy atmospheric doom-hymns with an overarching aquatic theme.
A drowning fisherman, the sea unwilling to release her dead, the ultimate redemption through the one called Son of Man.

Slipping beneath the surface, into cold eternity,
beyond the realm of comprehension out of fathoms reach.
Man’s calamitous rebellion, begets false autonomy,
sinks into decay

Kerrick wrote:I was very generously given a copy of the vinyl (thank you Hafgúa!!!).  If anyone's considering picking up the vinyl, I highly recommend snagging one while they're still available!  The packaging is very professionally done and quite lovely - complete with lyrics, notes, photos, etc.  The epic cover looks amazing at that size too, and the green vinyl itself is really cool.  I ended up framing it in my home office (sorry for the glare in the photos).
