Ruins of the Past (symphonic death / doom metal)
Hi guys! Looks like I forgot my password - had to register again...
I have some exciting news! While the works on an Eternal Emperor album came to a standstill I started something different in 2010: A symphonic death / doom metal project called "Ruins of the Past". The album is finally finished and ready to be released.
And you can already check out the very first song on Youtube:
"Darkest Age Productions is proud to announce the release of Ruins of the Past's self-titled debut album. The release date is set for 1 October 2017 and the album will be available as CD and also on iTunes, bandcamp, Spotify and many other digital music platforms.
Tracklist:
01. Preludium (Instrumental)
02. Ocean of Tears
03. The Fallen Empire
04. Luciferian Messiah
05. Blood Red Flag
06. Ashes (Instrumental)
07. Apnoea
08. Ruins of the Past
09. The Lake
"Ruins of the Past" combines heavy death / doom metal with epic symphonic instrumentation accompanied by lyrics about grief and darkest hours of mankind's history.
The album clocks in at 54 minutes and comes in a beautyful 6-panel digipak with 12-page booklet."
There's a facebook page up and running but as a "new member" I'm not allowed to post external links. But you are smart people, I guess you find the search option on facebook.
There will be more songs posted before October 1 so ... stay tuned!!

Glad you like it! There will be some more songs posted before the release date and the album will be made available as full stream on Bandcamp / Spotify / Youtube on October 1.
However the CDs are gonna look great (hopefully!) and will have a little extra on them. Indeed, buying it might be a good idea.

Here's the title track of the album:
Glad you like it Kerrick! I think there's no real need to reanimate my old profile. I just use the new one, that's fine.
