Gospel Jamboree Music

Our family played our first concert gig as a group a few weeks ago. Here's one of the shorter, more upbeat songs.

If you're interested, here is us playing one song. I had to leave to get some gear in the beginning of the song...

Yes! And they are all old enough to have found their music groove, it was very satisfying as a parent to see them serve the Lord and take ownership. Carson (19) is on piano; he wants to be a composer and orchestra conductor. Emily (17) on acoustic guitar and lead singing. Chloe (14) on backing vocals; she is slightly autistic but absolutely brilliant in areas such as music and academics. Garret (12) on drums; we had to quiet him down b/c Tourniquet, Megadeth & Dream Theater are his fav bands right now! And my wife on bass gtr.

God is good. In my kids' lifetimes I burnt out in ministry, threatened suicide, ran away a few times. They have seen the absolute worst of me. But here we are; they all love the Lord and love me and we were able to have a really good time sharing our music and God's love with others!

If you watch any of the others on my youtube channel you will see that my wife's sister joined us on violin for half the songs.

That was really enjoyable.  You all should consider doing some recording, like an E.P. or album or just some of your favorite songs.

Thanks! If you want, check out 1 or more of the others on my YouTube account. Some definitely turned out better than others. Deep Calls to Deep probably turned out the best. 

We want to try and perform a couple more times this year. If reception is good and my kids want to continue, we will record something so we have at least one thing for the merch table! I don't think that crowd is interested in my Sevenoneself material!
