Worst (attempted) rhymes you've heard in songs?

Pretty much anything in Phineas & Ferb...except that it works and it is awesome.

Steve Miller Band in 1982. I snuck into that concert. Only to be greeted by all ages getting up to boogie in a pot filled arena of people dancing ranging in age from 8 to 80 years old

Here's another one.  Maybe I'm just "That Person" that doesn't get these lyrics.  With better lyrics I think this could be even a Greater song than it already is....to a very iconic status.  It gets covered So Much that it already has a legendary status......but, alas, the lyrics of the last verse....

How could we forget Barren Cross?

Yeah, that was pretty horrible.

"The Only Way I Know" by Jason Aldean and 2 other goofballs, I forget who. The absolute laziness in this songwriting has always driven me up a wall and I can't believe it's on mainstream radio.

(the way they sing it, "throttle", "open", and "show it" are all supposed to rhyme)

The entire song “A Horse with No Name” by America (old classic rock song). Literally every line is a bad rhyme

I'm sure I've got something in one of my songs... let me check real quickly

From "Compromise", this part is kind of cringe imo but I wanted to rhyme it...
Abortion is murder
Adultery is wrong
The list of ignored truths is extremely long


This is making me realize how many times I just said "I'm writing metal, who needs rhyming" lol. "One True God" has no rhyming in the entire song...


And in "Heaven" the line "And everything is right" is pretty cheesy, but I needed a rhyme for "Always day and never night"


And I can never find anything to rhyme with "life" other than "strife"


Probably my worst rhyme is from "Perfect Instructions for Ruin":
Throw away the good memories just like a dart
That day is now ruined; you’re on a good start


I guess my rhymes overall aren't as bad as I initially thought...
