Top 5 Favorite Christian rock/metal bands

Simple enough. Who are your all-time top 5 Christian rock/metal bands? As an added bonus, name your favorite album(s) from them!

Becoming the Archetype - Terminate Damnation/ Celestial Completion
Barren Cross- Atomic Arena
77s - Self Titled
Daniel Band- On Rock. This one is pure nostalgia
Hard to leave off Rez and Demon Hunter, on a different day they might make it.

My top bands are:

3. PETRA (including Petra related bands Classic Petra, CPR and UOSAS) 
4. SAINT (3 and 4 are very close and could change)
5. REZ
6. JERUSALEM 
7. BLOODGOOD and LES CARLSON
8. SHOUT and KEN TAMPLIN
9. X-SINNER 
10. NARNIA (still investigating this band and have all their albums except for Ghost Town which I will get. Haven't heard all their music yet. I can see them moving up to 5 or 6 once I get more familiar with their music. I got into them within the past couple of years)

Saint is another one it's hard to leave off.

Saint would make my top 10.

Kreyson (Křižáci)
Epta Astera (Feste Burg)

I'll mention these bands which I listen to more frequently than the bulk of the above mentioned bands, but because they only have one or two albums, it'd be hard to put 'em in my top 5 (for now!).

You may as well correct the other 2 as well. I would have probably chosen Stryper (Against the Law), and I chose Tourniquet (POD). What say you?

Tourniquet’s is right.
Your favorite Stryper is either Soldiers under Command, In God We Trust, or The Final Battle.

Your new favorite Theocracy song is “Mirror of Souls.”

Against the Law is the best Stryper album musically. Skillet is just average modern metal but with decent lyrics.

I go by albums more than bands, because most bands I don't like everything they do, so...

Seventh Angel- Lament for the weary (like all their stuff )

Mortification- Scrolls (first 3)

Holy Soldier- First 2

Living Sacrifice- Non existent (inhabit)

Vengeance Rising- Destruction comes (other stuff is good too but don't listen to it often these days)


Have to sneak Believer Dimensions in there too

REZ! How could I forget! That lament album is tops. Kind of King's X and soundgarden vibe mixed in with their own sound. So yeah I'd have to put REz in my list. A consistently strong band that morphed well with the times but never lost their core sound on any album.  I didn't put King's X in there because, being the amazing band they are, are neither here nor there as far as slotting into markets and genres.

FF is done but he has 2 other albums in various states of completion.
