An interview with Arjen Lucassen (Ayeron) caught my eye because he said this album was very influenced by the music and culture of the 70's, which IMO was the best decade for music. This is some very good melodic prog metal with some rock cover tunes.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the new Dokken or Soledriver...
