Re: Opus Irae
You'd better ask Samuel Durling from Endtime Productions.
Opus Irae were formed in 2011 and recorded their debut album between 2014 and 2015.
The first single "Burden of Man" from 2015 is also from this album, so at that point the album was finished and presumably ready for release.
From then on, the fate of the recordings was in the hands of Samuel Durling, who to date has released songs from it in the form of two singles and a label compilation in various formats. The whole thing was probably meant to serve as an advertisement for the upcoming album and to bring in some money for the production costs of the recordings.
Since then, Opus Irae have also played various live gigs, but the Corona pandemic probably put a damper on any live plans.
The band still exists, but nobody knows what will happen with the album. Neither Endtime Productions nor the band themselves comment on it.
Endtime has caused a lot of discontent in the past because of the extremely bad handling of orders (months of delay or no delivery at all for many customers). Also, releases sometimes take an enormously long time. Whereby 7 years is unusual even for Endtime and I can only assume that Opus Irae must be extremely frustrated that an album that was ready 7 years ago is still not ready today. (Even though they initially defended Endtime despite the delay.) The band has been active for 11 years and Endtime has made sure that they still don't have an album.
Endtime stands for high quality layouts, productions and the "better bands" of extreme metal in the Christian sector. This was certainly also a reason for Opus Irae, with their high compositional and creative standards, to sign there.
However, I would describe the result as an enormous brake on their career.
Conclusion: The way Endtime treats customers and artists is an absolute impertinence.

Serpent's Breath/Carcharoth self released
Apparently it was put out on Bandcamp. Sounds amazing!
Endtime messed up Dalit's last album as well. The band finished it years ago and it also hasn't gotten a physical release. They also released their album digitally as an independent release. Endtime must hold the rights.
Re: Opus Irae
Oh wow, thanks for the heads up, I see Dalit is finally getting a Physical pressing of their recent album, I'm glad Nordic Mission decided to do that.
