Teaser from a new Tourniquet song - 'THE 408 ZODIAC CIPHER'

Hey everyone! Here's the first two minutes of a brand new Tourniquet song called "The 408 Zodiac Cipher". The full song (with vocals) will appear on our upcoming album. Very good! They got my attention. I like how Ted has picked up the tempo on this one and continued to incorporate his trademark classical music passages. 

I just hope the vocals match it.

Sounds AWESOME. Does anyone know if they’re still looking at a 2022 release date? I’m not on the social medias.

Great start. Really doubt that fhis will be released in 2022. If I had to bet, I would say July 2023. The guitars were not recorded yet, not to mention they don't have a vocalist yet.

I don't hate Dale Thompson's works. He is one of my favorite singers ever, but he's soooo saturated these days. Every month he releases a new band or a new album. He has a lot of skills, but I think he has quite a bit to offer and do with Tourniquet. I prefer someone a little more focused and directed

I don't remember Owens releasing 15 albuns in a year, and the most with just regular musicians. Ripper Owns is a hired gun too? Yeha. maybe the most famous ever, but he knows how work and how promote himself in a way better than Dale.

IMO, I would like to hear TQT recording with the guy that made vocals for the band in a concert in Mexico in 2017, If I'm not wrong. He was a good vocalist and able to change between melodic and rispy vocals very well

I find it difficult. There's no reason for Ted to be so secretive just to repeat a name he's worked with before...

Looking forward to this. I definitely like Aaron's style for the more harsh vocals. Hoping the other singer is suited to Tourniquet's style.

Personally, I'm not a fan of Michael Sweet's vocals on top of Ted's songwriting and Tourniquet's style. He's too clean. Ripper had more natural grit and a theatricality to his vocals that works better. Hoping for the best in any case.

I would love Michael Sweet to be the featured singer on the whole album. Zipper Owens is cool for the screaming stuff, but Michael has the best overall range. He can sing smooth like an Angel or scream like a Banshee.

He also can be seen as a guy in the “saturated” category.
Besides his main gig in Stryper, he has a solo career and is in high demand at Frontiers Records for collaboration projects.

I'm personally tired of "name" singers and their 20 projects.

"Guy Ritter" wasn't a name singer and those were the best albums by far.

Also, Guy Ritter had a unique and quirky voice. He helped set Tourniquet apart in my opinion. I don’t really think he sounded that much like King Diamond (maybe just a little bit…). He has a much raspier voice. The only people I could compare to Guy is Steve Souza and Axl Rose.

I'd love a vocalist like Souza for Tediquits music.

ruined that live record for me. the music is awesome but Les' vox...just...no...

don't misunderstand... I love me some Les Carlsen...Bloodgood is one of my faves...
