This sounds like it will be a winner, too!  Mike Drive is on fire as of late.

Sounds like Gale Force. Wonder if this is what the whole album will sound like?

He mentions in the below video that there is a demo that they already released.
Maybe that holds some clues....

Also there are some live songs from last year's Immortal Fest, that will be helpful too (haven't listened to them all yet):

Very modern sounding.

Not bad… but I’m not feeling it.

Same here.  It sounds good for what it is, just not my style.

I would say the same....it is good for what it is, just not my thing.

Girder is heavily marketing the album and I wish them the best with it.

I saw them at Immortal Fest last year. It didn't capture my attention live but I'd be curious to hear more from the album. It is either a grower or just not my thing.

I have it ordered.  I got the standard CD.  I don't see paying the difference between the standard and expanded version as the expanded version merely contains a stripped down song that is already on the record.  I don't need the trading card or sticker or whatever else it is they were offering.

I kinda dig this. I, too, wish there was a guitar solo, but otherwise it’s pretty good!

^yeah that song sounds really cool but where’s the guitar solo? A modern metal band can have guitar solos right?

It is ok but heavier and more modern than what I am interested in. Considering these guys are from Recon, Barren Cross, Holy Soldier and Deliverance I wish they would go back to their roots. They already have Gale Force and Worldview.

Definitely a good album, but yes, there are some modern overtones.

After a couple listens through the full, it's a good album with a lot of modern rock touches but also wanders into power metal territory at times. Mike sounds great, the production is bottom heavy which is typical for much of modern hard rock and there's not much in the way of guitar solos.. If you wanted Barren Cross or Recon you will be disappointed, this seems to be what they want to sound like now.

I love Rain, which kinda sounds like Worldview but the rest I’ve heard hasn’t really grabbed me. I really wanted to love this. I still hope it does well for the guys.

I bought the CD.   I think it’s great and I appreciated it better after a couple of listens.   Why:

1. Intelligent lyrics

2. I am digging the modern sounds.  Old guys typically stick to classic rock sounds and song structures.  Not here.   This is the classic rocker’s interpretation of modern rock.

3. Love Mike’s voice.  The way he emotes and helps you connect with the lyrics is fantastic.  You feel the rebellion, anger, sadness, doubt, etc.

4. The song Rain is epic.

5. Quality production.  After all Dino himself got involved.

6. There may not be solos but there are layered guitars, textures that sort of thing.

7. Songmanship

In a world where all the recent Stryper albums are musically blurred, this is a nice change.

Correction: my no solos comment only applies to opening track.  The next few songs all have solos.

This album is outstanding. Awesome writing and execution. I am usually very anti 90's sound but I can't argue with results like this. If you passed on it, at least stream it once. 3 songs in I had a big smile on my face.

Is there a place where you can hear samples of the album? I heard the 2 songs released and I would like to hear more before buying.

I miss the old days when you would go to a record store or a Christian store that sells music and sample an album.

You can listen to the entire album using YouTube music. If you like it, consider grabbing a cd. That’s what I did.

I know Michael Drive has been compared to Bruce Dickinson back in his Barren Cross days but is anyone noticing some sililarities to this and Bruce's solo work?
