Rank the Sacred Warrior Albums!
I 1. Waiting in Darkness
The best thing they ever did. Heavy, melodic, great lyrics. Awesome album!
2. Obsessions
My favorite for a long time. So many great tunes.
3. Wicked Generation
Not so much awesome individual songs as just a really strong album.
4. Master’s Command
Except for the ballad, the first 10 songs are exceptionally strong. I feel the album loses a bit of steam at the end, though.
5. Rebellion
Good stuff, but not quite as strong as what would come later.
I don’t think they made a bad album. I just think they continually got better.

Oh wow, I'm guessing you will probably be in the minority having WiD as your top album.
1. Obsessions (just simply fantastic).
2. Master's Command (first album I got from the band, found it used for like $4...best four bucks I ever spent)
3. Rebellion (amazing debut album)...depending on the day I might make this number 2.
4. Waiting in Darkness a fantastic album, and I don't think Eli ever sounded better, but the production seemed a little off (especially for a modern recording).
5. Wicked Generation, not a bad album but some of the tracks just don't click with me.

I own all of them but this isn't a type of music I listen to very much. So far Obsessions and Master's Command have stood out the most with Obsessions being my favorite.

1. Wicked Generation - absolutely love this album! Love how dark and gritty it is. Minister By Night is my favorite SW track. My only knock against it is how similar some of the melodies and storyline are to Queensryche's "Operation: Mindcrime."
2. Master's Command - a superb album on the level of the best in the secular scene. Beyond the Mountain is so good! That and Minister By Night are two of my favorite metal tracks ever.
3. Obsessions - somehow comes off a little too melodic at times, especially toward the beginning. Love the second half of the album though. Some amazing tracks on this.
4. Rebellion - a band finding itself at the beginning. I like this album but it rarely gets listened to. Solid and more straightforward.
5. Waiting in Darkness - higher highs than Rebellion. Dust and Ashes, Long Live The King, Living Sacrifice are amazing tracks and some of the best in the catalog. It's just uneven in the end.

1, 2, 3. Rebellion, Master's Command, Obsessions. Flip a three-sided coin to pick the favorite.
4. Wicked Generation. Good but not as good as the others.
5. Waiting in Darkness. Still not bad, but it's hard to separate Ray from Sacred Warrior.

1. Masters Command
2. Wicked Generation
3. Rebellion / Obsession
I didn‘t know they had a new album, but I am not sure I am interested if it is not with the OG singer.

Re: Rank the Sacred Warrior Albums!
Im a guy who just go into them in the past year or so. I loved the song Sword of Victory when I was young but never explored them otherwise.
1. Rebellion. Not really sure why I like it so much but gets the most listens and was the first one I bought.
2. Masters Command. Just complete brilliance but doesnt top Rebellion, and the only other album I own by them
3. Obsessions just doesnt catch me like the others (I listen on Spotify)
4. Wicked Generation just doesnt catch me like the others (I listen on Spotify)
5. Waiting in Darkness ( I love Eli but havent listened to this one so Im reserving the right to move it later)

Beyond the Mountain was on a compilation, right? That song blew me away and I still love it, one of the best metal tracks ever indeed. I also dig the cover art on Master‘s Command, and the Roger Martinez feature.

It's on the Classics greatest hits album as well.
