Narnia celebrates 25 years with the compilation album 'Soli Deo Gloria'

Swedish metal band Narnia celebrates 25 years, and in November the band releases a compilation album entitled: Soli Deo Gloria, including 30 songs from their solid repertoire.




 
Narnia sums up its first 25 years with the compilation album: ’Soli Deo Gloria’, a collection of 30 songs that show the band's wide range and long experience of being established as one of the best melodic metal bands on the metal scene. Songs from the first album ‘Awakening’ to the latest studio album ‘From Darkness to Light’  along with bonus tracks from different album versions, clearly shows how the band has managed to maintain a high level throughout its history and at the same time, how to hungrily strive for a promising future.


Meanwhile, the band’s ninth studio album is in the making and scheduled for release in 2022 --- this is a great introduction to the band for new listeners, as it is a gold mine for current fans to revisit favorites and discover lesser-known songs.


'Soli Deo Gloria’ will be released on double-CD, and digitally on November 5^th, and distributed by Sound Pollution.

Who knows... but I hope that this can happen soon...

I had watched 5 Narnia concerts (3 with Stryper) and all the times, the band was really amazing on stage

Their previous compilation double album 'Decade of Confession' was my deserted island album for the longest time. They've had 3 studio and 1 live album since.

And IMHO, they're best than ever!

Looking forward to new Narnia. They've been consistently good.

I'm wondering if this is worth getting. The last conpilation Decade of Confession has a nice booklet that shows the history of the band and 3 or 4 rare/bonus tracks songs that were only on the Japanese or certian versions of albums. Soli Deo Gloria mainly has songs from their prior albums with I think 1 rare song. As more information is available it depends on what the booklet contains.

My brother is unfamiliar with Narnia, but I think he'd love them.

This sounds like a great intro and perfect jumping point for him

I never could get into this band, despite their obvious talent.
