Jimmy can still play thrash, he just chooses to make the Bowie influenced hard rock. 

When he does play the fast heavy stuff, he does it for his old school fans.

Jimmy is awesome both on guitar and as a vocalist!  I actually like the 90's less thrashy stuff more than the actual couple of earlier thrash albums.  But those those still Kick A## too.

I don‘t play the guitar but I enjoyed this and you can tell this is not easy to play.

Weapons of our Warfare had some of the greatest thrash riffs ever.

Yeah man, great album.Actually, I just downloaded a bunch of their stuff from you tube and having fun reminiscing with them. That was when they were slowly trying to ween themselves of the thrash and progress into their new style I believe (don't quote me on that though).  I'll say this for those first two albums-- they hold up to anything slayer or Metallica or anthrax did (though I'm not a fan of anthrax).  In weapons you can hear a big ride the lightning influence and both albums are obviously influenced by all those bands.  However, it's Jimmy's voice that makes the difference and what a voice!
