Artist mailing lists
I dumped all my social media accounts back in January and so email remains my primary source of communication now. If the forum had not emailed me about the Tourniquet fundraiser then I would not have known about it. I wish there was a button on the internet I could push to send me email whenever my favorite artists do things because I'm not sure that all of them have email newsletters.

You can do this on most band's bandcamp pages.
I also maintain a mailing list of folks who have purchased stuff from my band.

Bandcamp is an excellent site, though it's run by your typical big-tech liberal activists. They have "Bandcamp Fridays" though where they waive their fees to the artists/labels for everything purchased on that day. I'm going to be making an effort to buy stuff on those days.

I've had an account at Bandcamp for years and have bought stuff but I never thought about using them for artist communication much. Thanks for the tips.

A lot of the labels send out e-mails regularly with new releases so you might subscribe to some of those if you haven't.
