One of the few modern P&W artists I like. Partly because they, unlike most others, don’t sound like bad U2.

Pet Sounds (1966), Friends (1968), and Love You (1977) are my favorite Beach Boys albums. I'm more into their stuff when they veered away from the whole "surf rock" thing. Their 70's catalog is underrated.

Kind of the same with the Beatles. I'm more into their stuff starting with Rubber Soul, when they started going down the art-rock/psychedelic path.
