Can you recommend any old school Metal/hair/rock bands like Stryper?

Like to discovery new music, to me that is, or bands that are old school either metal, hair band, rock band like Stryper. Not too heavy metal as I at least like to be able to hear the vocals to sing along with. I liked Stryper but that was as far as I got into christian music back then and now in these times I would like to find some more christian music to listen to please. At the time for example I liked Poison, Warrant, Firehouse and bands like that.

Clear as mud right? ;0)

For a guitar virtuoso bent with pop-ish vocals can't go wrong with Narnia, who just did a semi-recent tour with Stryper:

I'm a fan of this Dokken-ish indi band called Kidd Robin:

I strongly recommend to check out Theocracy, even though they are not classic 80s/hair metal. This is from their (remastered) debut album:

Oh, yeah. I specifically recommend Mortification's song "Terminate Damnation". I kind of forgot because they are a little softer than most hair metal, but they are still great.
