Dang, that's really young to get colon cancer (said he was diagnosed with it 4 years ago).  They don't even start screening for colon cancer in the U.S. until you hit around 50.

I’m told it’s becoming more common younger, and the age at which screenings may be suggested may be coming down.  I had mine removed the day before I turned 44.

Yeah family history would certainly be a factor.  My mother (who is 70) has had several polyps removed from her lower intestine/colon during regular screening.  Sure enough, when I had my first exam at 51 they had to remove one from me as well.  I guess if Boseman has children they will want to start getting exams at a relatively young age.

I wonder what Marvel will do with the whole Black Panther character.  They were scheduled to start shooting Black Panther II early in 2021.  I know they have changed actors before with the Hulk and Roadie, but the actors they were replacing were really not well loved by Marvel fans.  With Boseman, though, he has now appeared as King T' Chala in FOUR films and had a few more on his contract.

He was the greatest influence and guitar innovator of the last 40+ years! Just like Hendrix and Iommi, he was a pioneer that helped define rock guitar.
