Bolt Thrower is kind of like the AC/DC of death metal. They found a formula that works and they've largely stuck with it throughout their career. They've never put out a bad album. Their first album - In Battle there is no law is probably the outlier in their discography. It's a dirty, crusty, ugly slab of primitive death metal, and I love it, but it does sound quite different from the IVth crusade. War Master is the album they put out right before The IVth crusade, I think you'd like that one. Also, the two albums that directly followed Ivth crusade, For Victory and Mercenary are incredible, and you'd likely find them rather enjoyable as well.

Some have also called Obituary the AC/DC of death metal(though they're a little less consistent)...also called the cavemen of dm and the rednecks of dm

No that title would belong to cannibal corpse (ac/dc of metal) Actually you could say that about a lot of death metal.
