Are there any bands that do the dark country vibe like Demon Hunter's, When the Devil Comes? Love that sound.

That's a cool song. I can't think of anything too similar. Check out Luke Easter's song "After I'm Gone" from "Pop Disaster" though. It has a cool country vibe to it. You may want to change the subject of this thread to "Dark Country" or something like that to get more responses.

You might find something similar on the three David Crowder releases.  He still does a little worship stuff, but he has definitely experimented with his sound so that it has elements of a little pop, rock, and country in it.  I can't stand country music, and even I like his new stuff.

Would Wovenhand be considered dark country?  Maybe dark-alt-Americana?
